"We had a wonderful stay! The Homestay is set in the mountains with the village just down the hill. We felt welcomed into the home and the village. The property overlooks a lovely rice field and the mountains. The room was clean and tidy. Motor bikes and tours are able to be setup at the property. We ate like royalty while staying here for a reasonable price. My favorites were the fried rice and the fried plantains. Where this accomodation was meant to be 13 k it stated on the web site. But then after we discovered 28 k along very windy roads . And the next day we were told you walk from the road? "
"We were completely shocked at the state of the room. We requested the best they had, yet there were dead bugs on the sheets, a blood stain on the bed! And toothbrush residue splattered all over the bathroom mirror. We took pictures and I let the staff (a woman who remained on her phone during the entire conversation) know. I showed her the issues and she simply nodded and nothing else. We quickly left and ran next door to the Rusa hotel and stayed there. I don't understand how Expedia partnered...
