Just off the main roads, but walking to mini mart and Bintang supermarket easy. Steps as the villa is two levels.

Great pool and rooms, but a bit noisy

great pool, and great service from staff. However, if you or your children are annoyed with dogs barking, you should find alternatives. Also the room was not easy to locate by the taxi driver.

Private two Storey Villa within 3 min walk of Main Street. Super clean and spacious. Great layout of downstairs living open to the pool. Access from Main Street is via a very narrow lane , (walk scooter only) remember your umbrella. Quiet except for local roosters… This place is excellent value in the heart of shopping and restaurants. Definitely recommend to others. Mark and Lisa

La villa correspond à ce qui est détaillé sur l'offre. Je tiens juste à signaler que la piscine est juste un petit peu trop profonde. J'ai tout juste mon fond et je mesure 1.80m. Pour le reste, rien à redire.

At first we couldn't find the entrance from the little alleyway but once we found this gem we were presently surprised by this beautiful Villa.

Aroha Boutique Villas

Location wise: Though is a 5 min walk from the main street but the vehicle inaccessible to the villas is still a headache. Swimming pool is too cold to have leisure swim during night and day as well, hopefully can install a water heater to heat up the water when tenant wants to have a swim in it. Overall is a pleasant stay, room cleanliness is great and the staff is friendly and warm. Internet speed is great.

Convenient location

The stay was alright except for the constant barking and howling of the neighbor's dogs at night and the crowing of the neighbor's rooster throughout the day. It was pretty disturbing to our sleep. If the dogs and rooster may be kept somewhat at bay it would be an awesome place to stay for long. Location is good and friendly staff kept the place clean.

A lovely stay

The accommodation and the staff were excellent however we did not like the location because it was too secluded and has no access to vehicles thus when we came back late we were very scared and quickly ran in.

OK, but not for everyone

The villa is located in a residential area and can only be accessed by scooter or a long walk. Access is via laneways that are littered with dog faeces. Barking dogs greet you at your door and constantly remind you of their presence. Roosters crow 24/7. A temple is located right next door and scooters will come and go at all hours of the day and night. The ground floor area is open to the elements, so mozzies and noise is prevalent. The tap water kept cutting out so we had to constantly ask the staff to fix/reset the pumps. The power went out one day and we had no way of contacting staff as the phone they supplied needed power! The staff are friendly and are always hanging around the 2 villas so you feel as though you are house sharing. If you are used to resort style accom. then you will NOT like this villa. However, if none of the stuff above bothers you then you will enjoy this place as we did. The rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast was ok but lacked variety. Sometimes it took a while to make but again it was fine. This villa is more suited for couples but not families.The villa agents Eclectic Bali Villas are not accommodating to any requests for changes and are only interested in taking the money. I would not recommend using Eclectic Bail Villas. We have been to Bali 6 times now, staying at different places within a similar budget and although Aroha is not bad by any means, I would suggest that there are many better places to spend your hard earned.

Pros: 1. Conveniently located - only 3 min walk to the main road, Jalan Raya Seminyak, but at night it can be dark to walk so bring a torchlight. 2. Rooms were well kept and service staff were friendly and very polite. 3. Huge spacious living room area and two bed rooms with attached bathrooms Cons: 1. Neighbourhood can be a little noisy with dogs barking at night 2. Mosquitoes!

Excellent villa- location ok

I stayed at this villa for two weeks and it was a great experience. The villa was excellent it was spacious and had a pool which we used daily after our shopping trips and daily activities. The staff were very friendly And always went out of their way to help with anything, we could give them a shopping list and they went and bought items for us always bringing back a receipt. Staff were able to speak okay English but very hard to communicate on occasions (took us two days to get an answer about getting late check out as they didn't understand us) The rooms were very spacious and always spotless and clean. The power went out at least 6 or 7 times daily which makes it very dangerous if you are in the shower at night. Breakfast was made daily by two young boys which was very basic but tasteful. The villa was excellent but location was a bit out of the way, small narrow alley ways which you need to walk through so take a torch at night and quite a long walk to the beach. All in all was an excellent stay.

Villa 5 stars, Staff 5 stars!.

Where do I start!,the beginning. The villa manager arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport. Came through from collecting our bags and there he was very polite helpful and friendly. Got to the villa and there was the manager to help us with our bags and explain where everything was where to go places to visit etc again very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ( which is included) made by a young man who came every day at whatever time you requested all fresh produce,he also stayed and cleaned everyday always smiling always polite. The villa is simply stunning well looked after and very clean, easily big enough for a family ( the villa is actually split in two and can be used as one large villa to sleep up to 8 people). Only problem that you could have is if there is another party next door then noise does carry as you are only separated by a door. But you can noise any where so not a complaint just something to be mindful of if you are going with young children. All in all the villa provides great value for money in a great location cannot thank the staff enough who are only too happy to help. Highly recommended. Thank you all for a great time.

Beautiful villa in the heart of Seminyak

Our experience at Aroha was perfect! Prior to our arrival, the villa staff arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport. This was ideal after a long day of traveling with a 13 month old. The villa staff greeted us at our villa with fruit and drinks despite our late arrival. The villa was STUNNING! It was exactly like the photos. The villa staff also took into consideration of baby's safety and arranged a pool fence for us. We woke up every morning to a delicious breakfast of our choice. The staff was more than accommodating, and discreetly made sure our villa was well kept and restocked every day. They also helped with arranging a personal driver, a babysitter, and tours for us. The villa was centrally located in the heart of Seminyak so we did not have to go far to have a good time. There is a supermarket, restaurants, clubs, bars, and spas less than a 5 minute walk away. Seminyak beach is also only about 1 km away! Thank you, Aroha Villas for the perfect family getaway!
