The staff are awesome and the pool and bar area are great ! Need to ask for a pool view room though as its a must- the view of the forest area isnt great

The property was clean, tidy, and perfectly located close to both the beach and strip of shops, including eateries. The property also within walking distance to smaller streets where many warung (local eateries) were located. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The swimming pools were large and inviting. The lobby was large and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Our check-ins experience was unforgetably good. We have experienced staying in many hotels and resorts; and Grand Mercure Seminyak made to our category of 5 out of 5 scale.

We travelled in a group and it was a great place to stay! Rooms are spacious and super clean. Very nice pool area, great breakfast and easy to walk to places. Plenty of shopping around & beach was right down the road. Would stay here again if i was to go back to Bali.

Very friendly staff and convenient location. Still not at the mainstream roads which means less manic; but at the same time there are convenience stores, restaurants and odd tourist shops within the same road as the Hotel

The hotel was very clean, the buffet breakfast was great and also very clean fresh fruits and pastries were kept in an enclosed cabinet that staff served you, which was great for less contamination and away from heat. Great location, 2 min walk to the beach and on a great street with lots of shopping. Only down fall to the hotel was the limited bar service at the pool bar, waiting up to 20 mins to be served, sometimes no staff even present. Very minimal sun beds, and people claiming them straight away leaving their towels on them. We were there 5 days and did not once get a sun bed. If you stay here, the best rooms to get would be poolside. The pool is a decent size and their is also a kids pool separate to the main pool. The rooms were a great size, bed was very comfortable with the most amazing pillows that felt like you were sleeping on a cloud. The hotel has only been open since December, there are a few minor things that are very easily fixed and would make this 👌 The cleaniness of the hotel was next level and i was very impressed with that.

Motel overall was a pleasant place to park ourselves for 9 days, close to beach, bars and eating options. Motel itself was well presented, clean and staff were accommodating and polite, only let down was the vacant property which sits in between the wings of the Mecure, meant we didn't have the greatest view but otherwise we would stay there again.

We had an awful experience and they made my sister agree in writing not to post a bad review to get a small refund. Most good reviews are from before the hotel even opened. Every time we were in the lobby, guests were complaining about appliances not working or their rooms being dirty/smelly. Cant trust reviews as they have been tampered with. Room wasnt ready when we arrived at 4pm. Towels, bedsheets and carpet stained. Room filled with mosquitos. Rusted shower, taps and bidet that suddenly change temperature. Had somebody elses hair in our shower. Lumpy pillows. Minimal toiletries & thin, coarse toilet paper. Paper thin walls so we could hear our neighbours and people from the street. Lift was broken and old/disabled guests were left on upper floors. Our 1st room had a sewerage smell leaking in to the room and staff kept drenching it with cheap perfume. We asked to move rooms and our 2nd room had the same issue. Staff confirmed most rooms had this issue. We again asked to move rooms and the electricity in our 3rd room kept cutting out. We had no appliances, phone chargers or air conditioning. Staff were extremely rude. They laughed at and mocked guests who complained. Pool seating was limited compared to guests (hotel wasnt even full). The one time we got a seat, we noticed a mosquito infestation. Staff started spraying extremely harsh chemicals with no warning and guests had to scramble away. Buffet kept running out of food and staff would wait ages before refilling.

The location is good the pools are good food ok the service is terrible the rooms are lovely but a really bad smell in them all the time.Plus for the amount of rooms nowhere near enough sun lounges around the pools. And i do not think the loud music they played every afternoon was for every body.We go to Bali all the time I do not think i would stay there again.

The rooms and bathrooms are very nice. Balconies are small but have nice furniture. The pools are large but very shallow. Air con motors to exterior walls vibrate throughout entire hotel. Room air con fan is very loud. Have not experienced air con issues like these before. There is a vacant lot in the middle of the hotel which does not beling to the hotel and they are unable to purchase it. Our room and many others overlook this overgrown block with 2 tin sheds on it. Theyll tell you that you are overlooking the garden. You are not! 29 pool lounges mostly in the shade for about 249 rooms. Staff advise there are 30 on order however there is literally nowhere to ut them without some large works around the pool. No smoking near the pool. No pool lounges at the kids pool so lots of kids/families in the big pools and taking up alot of beds. Cocktails are reasonably priced ( in line with most places, be aware they are almost in line with Australian prices) You will be chased to pay every time you order a drink. If you stay in the section to the left of the lobby, you will have to walk through this area to get to the pool/breakfast/bar. Not that bad but there was often water puddles here and there and in the elevator. Apart from the above niggles - we did actually have a nice time. The hotel is a 45 second walk to the beach and is a good location.

The Grand Mercure Hotel had great facilities, including pool area, breakfast area and location on the doorstep of shops, good cafes etc. Hotel was really clean and staff were excellent. The only thing that we felt reduced the experience was the breakfast being good but not great.

Hotel is in a great spot, close to beach, shops & restaurants, the only disappointment is not enough lounges around pool.

Good new hotel, beautiful room in a quiet part of Seminyak near double 6 beach. Good choice of restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel was clean and the staff is great, especially Febby who is the best customer service person. Draw back of hotel is the limited seating at the pool, you have to get in early to get a seat.

Nice, big rooms in a new hotel. Very friendly and helpful service. Make sure to request an inside room which is much quieter than the outside rooms facing the street. Easy walk to the beach, dining, and shopping.

Great property well located with nice amenities
Great location walkable yo many restaurants and the beach. The hotel and rooms are in great condition and very comfortable with generous sized rooms. Gorgeous pool with refreshing water and swim up bar and a separated Childrens pool area. Highly recommend.
