Overall the property was ok and in good condition. I have also read previous reviews on the noise level from the nearby club at night which didn't bother me. However, the water was alittle weird and tasted funny. I don't usually use bottled water to rinse my mouth or brush my teeth in Bali, but I had to here.

One of Bali's BEST Villas!

Hu'u Villas is easily one of the best villas we've stayed in Bali. The villa is AMAZING, the location is just perfect and most importantly, it is SAFE! We love that each villa is named after a beach in Bali! :)

Perfect for a romantic getaway

Beautiful, modern villa in a quieter part of Seminyak but near to the beach and Merah Putih! We loved the private pool, sunken bath tub, outdoor shower and wished we had more time to spend in the Villa. Will be back.

Wonderful villa

These villas are beautiful and serene despite the chaos around them. If you want to be in Seminyak walking distance from many great restaurants and shops, this is an excellent alternative to a large noisy impersonal hotel. The photos do not do the villas justice, the are spacious and comfortably appointed with high quality linens and amenities.

Lacks compassion

Could not make the trip to Bali due to a death in the immediate family. Management's refusal to refund the money is against the Balinese tradition we felt during prior trips to the island, shame on you!!!!

Nice Villa - Breakfast could be better.

The Villa is nice. The breakfast menu is VERY limited - as a guest you can only order 1 per menu. There isn't much flexibility ON the breakfast menu. If you're arriving later than 10pm, ensure that you eat before your arrival because there is no room service till the following morning. If you're renting a villa ensure that the sun shines over your pool because we had no sun on our pool due to the positioning of the pool and the walls and plants. so we had to go to the W nearby - we eventually moved into the Ritz.

Nice place in good location

Great location in Seminyak For proximity to restaurants and close to the beach. It only has indoor living spaces, as opposed to outdoor spaces in most bali villas. Small pool and courtyard. The internal air conditioning only has one setting, freezing. The prices fluctuate enormously so make sure you get a good deal.

Big villa, vanished body lotion

I have spent my birthday with my love in this villa. However the day before departing to Bali I had a family urgency that I can't leave on time. I emailed Hu'u immediately but in vain. My partner tried to contact the villa for the birthday arrangement through the email and it was also very slow. Maybe it was because no one worked on Sunday...probably? Anyways, the room is sooooo big, breakfast is served in the room and the staff generally treated us very well. They even provide incense as mosquito repellent so the whole villa is actually very comfy. The highlight was during check-out: we were asked if we have "taken" a bottle of body lotion that we never saw in our villa. We explained that we brought our own and we did not find any "body lotion" in the room. The housekeeping said "they couldn't find it" (neither did we!). We didn't need to pay for the vanishing lotion but it was not a very nice experience to end the trip They are having a restaurant opening soon but I don't think I would go back to this one.

Perfect location, stunning villa, family friendly

We love coming to Bali for our family getaways and I think we have found our favourite place to to stay. The Villas are stunning, spacious and has all the comforts of home. Great place for our little girl to run around. It was walking distance to Potato Head and Seminyak Square. I would definitely be booking here again, and thinking of bringing more family members. Noticed we can interconnect villas, so I will be looking into this if.

Spacious villas positioned close to the beach

We had 5 very pleasant days and nights in the villa. Was a great place to come back to following days of shopping/ eating and exploring. My youngest loved the villa and rarely wanted to leave!

Oasis near the beach

Looked at many private villas in seminyak and chose this one because of the location near the beach and pictures of the room. The villa did not disappoint. Atmosphere and decor were very zen. Perfect for a romantic couples getaway. Staff were sweet, but could tell they were a bit inexperienced and did not get any recommendations from them. Good thing I did my research.

Very convenient location

The hotel is within walking distance to many nice restaurants and Potato Head Beach Club. There is also a free shuttle service to near by area. Hotel staff are also very friendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay overall!

Good location but poor maintenance

Good location and generally nice villa. The disappointment was in the upkeep of the villa. It's less than 2 years old but the walls inside are all stained and cracked. Makes it feel like the villa isn't clean and well kept. Even the kettle inside was all old and dirty. Bath tub too didn't look clean. If they paid more attention to the cleanliness and the maintenance of the villa this would make a great stay, since the Service was attentive and friendly.
