Right in the heart of Myeongdong Shopping street. Super great location and definitely worth paying the price for location as well! Rooms were clean and tidy. Service was great as well.

Good location. The only draw back was the duvets in the dead of winter (and it so happens I was there when it was minus 13 degree celsius in Seoul) were so thin they seemed more like summer duvets.

Hotel is right in the heart of market. Very convenient however, for a hotel that expensive their WiFi is non existent. So bad is an understatement

Wonderful location. Room bigger than expected. Reception staff poor service. The property is located on a busy street. The reception is located on the 11th floor. While rooms are below it. I needed help with my luggage. Receptionist on duty was gruff and dismissive. I asked if i could leave it downstairs at the lift lobby INSIDE. I was concerned that the taxi driver picking me up would be angry if he had to wait for me as the street is busy with traffic. The receptionist said NO, NO, you must bring it up. I said but the driver will be reluctant to wait. He said, "NO, No. Driver will wait. " I borrowed the trolley. put luggage on it and went downstairs with it to wait for taxi. I even used google translate to tell driver to please wait, i will give him extra money. I went up with trolley but was kept waiting a bit as the lifts were busy and heading in the same direction. By the time i went back downstairs, the driver was very angry with me and shouting at the top of his voice. Honestly, the hotel should have two trolleys (so that another guest can use it if the first one is in use) and allow guests to leave it downstairs if the guest is by himself.It was very horrible to be shouted at in front of everyone. The Korean receptionist should know how their taxi uncles behave. I am still very upset about this.On my first day, I already requested for help when i checked out.The receptionists were extremely unhelpful.They don't care. FIgure out a way by yourself.Don't expect service

Great hotel in Myeondong and we enjoyed the night market. The hotel staff took care of booking the taxis and tours for us. They are all very helpful. The massage place steps from the hotel is also very good. We enjoyed our stay and it is quite affordable.

Very courteous and accommodating front desk even help me out to my local phone call Im so grateful!..hotel is very well situated in the heart of myeongdong when you go down shops resto everything u need are literally down there . Walking distance subway station. So glad we booked at this hotel will do it again next time❤️

Good location but noisy
Location is great right in Myeongdong and they provide same breakfast everyday. The room carpet was not very clean. Room is not soundproof as I am facing the shopping belt I could hear people talking (my room has a window). Could hear people talking and closing door along to corridor too. Toilet is very clean. I encounter renovation noise from the shop opposite from 12am to 3am. They only start renovation work after all the shop closed and it really disturb our sleep during this time. It's really loud! Will I stay there again... well I will think twice.

3 Best friends exploring Seoul, South Korea
My girlfriends and I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay at Hotel Skypark Myeongdong 1. All the staff and manager were helpful and friendly, especially the front desk agent, Huang Jung Hum. He speaks great English and understand English very well. He was extremely accommodating. The breakfast setup was great, but my only disappointment was that the scrambled eggs were still too salty. I hope the management and the chef will take note and make a change.

This hotel was a nice surprise. Everything about it was great. The location was the main thing. It is within distance to some of the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in Myeongdong. Also, it is close to the subway and other transportation options. The room was big enough and had a coffee maker and refrigerator. The bathroom was nice. The water pressure was great. The bed was comfy and big. The staff was really nice and helpful. And to find such a place with a breakfast option was a gem! Honestly, I enjoyed every bit of it. I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed some of the little things that I don't often see in American hotels: the window could open, the blackout shades, the bidet, the soundproof walls, the do not disturb/make up room button, etc. And the staff, even random maids encountered in the halls, were all very friendly. Some people think the rooms are too small, but it was perfect for my daughter and me, as we were really only in there for sleeping and getting dressed.

Pros: Hotel is just few mins walk to subway. Its in the heart of Myeongdong. Step out of the hotel is the streets. Cons: Room is small to open 2 luggages but its comfortable for 2 person afterall its just for sleeping after a day of walking. Staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast is simple but its enough to fill your stomach. Overall its worth the money. Will come back to this hotel again next time.

My intended trip was last February 10 to 13, 2020 and because of the 2019-novel Coronavirus I cancelled my booking beforehand. Unfortunately Skypark Hotel-Myeongdong I did not entertain or did not want to refund any amount from what we paid for the reason the booking is non-refundable. Even refund us half the price of what we pay just to console us or give us some option (we did not use our hotel booking), we cancelled because of a threat with our health. I am very disappointed with this.

Location in Myeongdong street, so convenience, no quiet mode at night. Rooms have many size but mine space quite limited. Rest room good. The best of the best is front desk staff.

Great location!
Hi - I liked the location a lot. It was in the heart of Myeongdong, and it was easy to access. It was helpful because I sprained my ankle and there was a small pharmacy nearby and I didn't need to venture too far. Also, the guys at the desk were pretty friendly.

Great stay
Great location. The hotel is located right at the centre of MyeongDong. Everywhere is at ease. I like there is a weight at the lobby so we can weight our baggage before leave for airport. Room is a bit small, but clean.

Very bad service. Not friendly not helpful at all. When asking for assistance they can wave no to le. I will never stay here again. Asking for mineral water also ask me to pay when I didn’t not receive the daily mineral water.

Unpleasant stay in Hotel Skypark I
We find the room very stuffy and warm coz there is no windows. We tried to switch on the aircon but it did not work. The first night we could not sleep coz we were so hot. The following day we spoke to the reception and was told the aircon system for the building was not switched on and there is nothing they could do. They could only offer us a small electric fan in the room. Although it helped a little to cool the room down but it was uncomfortable to have a fan blowing on you all the time whilst sleeping. So the remaining 3 nights in the hotel was uncomfortable and we could not get a good nigh sleep. Another thing is the bathroom, there is bo shower cubicle nor bath tub. Once we showered the whole floor of the batroom was wet which was not convenient. We have stayed in this hotel several times in the past because it is close to the shopping area, but this occasion was very unpleasant and we have reservation to go to this hotel again on our next visit to Seoul.
