"La Finca Azul is a really nice place to stay. We only stayed for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. It's surrounded by beautiful nature, with a river nearby. The food was good, and the owner's daughters were really sweet to our two-year-old. If you want a peaceful getaway with nature and friendly people, this is a great place to go."

"OMG we loved this place. Best part of out 10 day trip that included Arenal and Manuel Antonio. Great early birding tour, and saw tanagers and kingbirds from our balcony. The cabins and walkways are of beautiful wood, nestled in trees and flowers. "

"We had lizards in the room and NO hot water! The electrical outlets were limited. Very over-priced! The staff was friendly, but the rooms were a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!"

"Es handelt sich um ein riesieges Holzgebäude,das jemand vor mehreren Jahren mit viel Liebe gebaut hat. Es liegt abseits der Straße auf einem Mischgelände aus Kuhwiesen u. Restwald. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, rustikal und nach aussen offen, so dass man abends- wenn man nicht von Moskitos zerfressen werden will- kein Licht benutzen sollte. "Amazing is an understatement. The hosts were very gracious, attentive, pleasant, informative, & over all the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. The bungalow was very clean, bed was comfy and firm & necessary toiletries were provided & up kept. Even with no AC it got so cold at night that it wasn’t needed. It is very high up in the mountains, if you have never been to Costa Rica just be prepared for very steep, thin, one roaded roadways going up to the cottage. The views and peaceful surrounding make everything worth wild. Over all we recommend and look forward to returning here someday. "

"Beautiful accommodations - up to date, spacious room, large bathroom. The grounds were very attractive and well kept. Dining was very good which is nice since the lodge is a bit out of the way from other options. Good location - not too far from San Jose and close to the Poas Volcano National Park and not far from the La Paz Waterfalls."

"Xandari was awesome! We loved the villa, the property, the people and the food! The views are spectacular and food was super fresh. My family loved the spacious villa and walking around the grounds. It’s also very convenient to the San Jose airport. We loved it so much we came back at the end of our trip to stay another couple of nights! "

"This is the best resort I have ever stayed at. The people who work here are incredibly nice. The amenities are incredible and the natural beauty of the place is unmatched. The place is surrounded by jungle, but somehow the resort’s cleanliness is top tier. The rooms have such an amazing feel, and the private hot tubs are incredible. "

"Very nice property with stunning flora and fauna. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast - fresh fruits, eggs, housemade toast and jam, rice and beans as well as a fresh coconut - was delicious, especially the coffee. I only stayed one night and had to leave early in the morning, wish I had more time here but plan to be back next time. "
