"We really enjoyed our time at Rio Bravo! The staff were friendly and kind, and even taught us a bit of Spanish. The buffet offers a good selection of food, and we didn’t mind the 3 drink per person cap (it’s designed to stop people misbehaving), and the staff were lenient. "Room is spacious and clean. Food has great variety. Great location. Lots of compliments from hotel (drinks, flower , cookies) Good Sauna I personally don’t love when toilet and sink not private, especially that at night light turns on automatically. If you stay with another person it’s disturbing sleep. But still have enjoyed staying at the Hotel."

"Refurbishment of hotel and room superb. Only problem lift not working , same in other blocks. Never saw anyonevtrying to fix them we with a baby in a pram in our party and on 3rd floor so hard work. Pools are cold even in Drago land, sea was warmer !! Entertainment very good. We have been on numerous occassiobs and updating of Esmeralda park is to a very high standard. "

"Overall the hotel was set in lovely grounds but first impressions were poor as the man at reception who greeted us was lacking in any communication skills. He asked us immediately if we wanted spa access, then a coffee machine then finally access to a workable safe (all at further expense) which made check in disappointing. He misdirected us and then didn't offer any assistance to get to our accommodation which was 10 mins away. The room was comfortable but tired and smelt of drains often. Please note that the hotel is situated right next to a stagnate lake so there are mosquitoes everywhere 😬"
