"Rooms were very nice. Comfortable beds. Wonderful staff. Had yummy breakfast at Timberlake restaurant. Beautiful restaurant with stone and woodwork and fireplaces. Had picnic by the lake for our dinner. Three disappointments: Made lunch reservations at Timberlake’s on arrival day. Confirmed through Resy. Restaurant was CLOSED! Also, several geese and swans by lake. Be careful where you step on grassy areas. Wish I’d paid extra for room with balcony facing lake. We had no balcony and overlooked parking lot. Nice indoor pool with older wooden deck just outside. Great location to beautiful Blowing Rock!"
