The room we were given had dozens of ants running everywhere on our luggage.
Upon realizing, we asked for another room, and got a comment that it's very unusual to see ants in this hotel. We'd later also find a couple more ants in the second room, so I'm not sure about that comment, although much better than the first room where I literally killed over 20 ants in the first 10 minutes of being in the room.
The shower gel bottle had hair in it, we were grossed out and just used shampoo instead.
Finally, the cherry on top, I wanted to use the property highlight, the rooftop pool, and found that they charge for towels to use the pool!
You're forbidden from using your bedroom towels, which is common, but having to PAY for towels in a 4 star hotel is ridiculous and such a stain on the relaxing mood you're looking for when booking an upscale property.
What's more, they hide the charge for the towel behind a "refundable deposit" that they also bill you when using the towel, and use deceptive language to hide the fact that you're actually charged both a refundable deposit AND a rental cost of identical pricing... Just bad business all around.
Will NOT be returning!
