We really enjoyed our short stay at the Carrygerry Country House. We specifically chose this location because check in is allowed late into the evening, there's free parking, and it's only a 10 minute drive to the airport. While it was very dark arriving at night, we had no issues checking in. We loved the old charm and found it interesting to read about it's history. The windows were open upon our arrival, so we had some mosquitoes in the room and bathroom. However, this is understandable for a location in the country. We had an early morning flight, but wished that we could have stayed longer because the breakfast sounded amazing.

We arrived on a rainy evening and were greeted warmly and offered a cup of tea in the parlor. Our room was in the courtyard, clean and spacious. We were asked if we would like to make a dinner reservation. After looking at the menu, it was en easy Yes! Food was fabulous and innkeeper so hospitable. We loved our brief stay. 11 minutes from Shannon Airport.

Very comfortable country house, easy access to nearby airport - makes for a great "last night" place to stay, although we also used it as our jumping off point when we first arrived. Beautiful surrounding grounds - hedges, horse pastures. Comfortable, well-appointed furnishings, good food and bar - kudos to Jillian and Geraldine

Lovely place. Only downfall our shower didn't have a place to set our shampoo and soap.Even though the glass was frosted a curtain would have been nice also since we were at ground level.Easy to walk to town and do tje Bushmill tour.

Great location for flying from Shannon airport
We had a change in plans at the last minute and decided to stay near the Shannon airport the night before our early morning flight. It was easy to book, it was a great price, and the woman who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. My only two minor complaints were that we couldn't figure out how to turn the radiators off so the room was very warm despite having the windows open and the pillows are flat and hard. Because of those two things, we didn't sleep well at all Oh well, we slept on the plane home.

Very friendly, accommodating for request for bottom floor, delicious food. Lovely estate house. Beautiful setting in the country, but close to Shannon. Very efficient and warm, caring staff, Geraldine, and proprietor, Gillian. Great hospitality!

This property is in the countryside, far from everything but very near the airport, so perfect for your last night. The restaurant is excellent as is the service. The only issues were the very low water pressure in the room and the lovely vintage furniture in the sitting room that is very difficult to deal with when one has a bad back. Service is lovely.

A respite just miles from Shannon airport
So welcoming and kind! So quiet and peaceful here. Lovely bed linens and comfy bed. Great price. If you’re on a layover at Shannon, factor in that a taxi ride each way is 25 euro. It’s not far but not much competition around here I guess and anyway your driver is likely to be lovely as well. It’s all worth it.

Carrygerry is a hidden gem, peaceful, picturesque, and as comfortable as your home that rivals any 5 star hotel. From the Kelly green fields to the immaculate table settings in the dining room, this is truly a place to decompress. This is truly worth a visit!!

The kitchen was closed but dining from the pub was a delightful simple meal experience. Everything fresh and homemade. Courtyard is charming. Rooms perfect and close to airport. A nice quiet stay.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Comfortable sleeping room and great breakfast room. Nice view of the surrounding fields. And the horses were trained to stay in view until the last breakfast customers got up!

Be the Lord of the Manor-- amazing place to stay
This is a wonderful place to stay, and I only wish I could praise higher than five stars. It's a beautiful place, and beautiful scenery around it. The staff are wonderful, the food really good. I only wish I could have had the regular dinner there, but they don't serve on Sunday evenings. Nevertheless, they were more than happy to feed me. There was so much thought and attention to detail, I could see that the owners were only concerned that the guests were happy.

Quaint country home close to Shannon town &airport
I only stayed 1 night here just before my flight out of Shannon, but it was a comfortable room and nice place to stay, just outside of Shannon town and close to the airport, so it was very convenient. The old country house was very cute with traditional furniture. They were painting the lobby while I was there, which was not a big deal but they kindly upgraded me to a larger room to compensate, since they were not full that night. I left early so I did not have breakfast there, but there was a nice restaurant that gets high ratings so I'm sure it's good. My only suggestion would be to add more outlets, or maybe power strips, for modern travelers with their multiple devices and chargers. Would definitely recommend this place though!
