"The front desk staff is a bit disengaged and not a lot of initiative. Had to remind one young lady to be sure our wrist bands were activated. On a different visit had ask a different young lady if she intended to advise when the room was ready. "

"Everything is dated, bath tub had mildew, room smells like mold."

"There wasn't ANY laundry for guests as the listed. Great music, but it doesn't end at night when they state, much later. If you have a room by the bar(which most are) dont plan on going to bed bt midnight."

"The main building is beautiful. We stayed in one of the other towers and it was OK, but not as nice as the main building. Plan accordingly."

"Would 100% stay here again. First time to Ft. Myers since Hurricane Ian and wanted to throw my $$$ towards this amazing beach town. The hotel is definitely updated and clean. Our room had a kitchenette. Every room has ocean view too. Every single staff member at the Lani Kai exudes hospitality and genuine warmth. The servers at all of the restaurants had great stories and exuded pride in where they are. If flying into Florida please consider skipping Tampa, Marco Island or even Ft. Lauderdale and come here instead. It’s not over-crowded and tons of local spots to eat. The beaches are beautiful… and you will find great shells. - See you soon (from Orlando)"
