"We booked a twin room as it was myself and my father and expected twin beds. Twin beds were not available, but the staff upgraded to a small apartment with a convertible sofa which was located in an annexe. Great thst they could do this, but it did cost an extra £120 on top of the £170 already paid. Expedia shoul have been explicit about what a twin room is. Because what they probided was a double room."

"3rd time we stayed here, Still good but had booked executive room and expected to be in the main building. Room we had was in The Coach House and smelt strongly of fresh paint, had to leave the window open for duration of our stay. "

"Friendly staff, heating system is old as expected which causes extremes of hot and cold in both heating and water. Staff kindly lent a heater when the heating system was not working. Very beautiful hotel."
