"Fantastic hotel with great amenities. We had a sea view room and I think almost all rooms have that. We enjoyed the Onsen that had everything one needs including small sauna. The complementary soft drinks in the cosy lobby was a nice gesture and appreciated. Staff were very helpful and accommodating our requests and questions. Our 11year old daughter found plenty entertainment, we all loved the skin care fish for example. Keen to go back. Also Shimoda is beautiful, lots to do, i.e. beautiful...

"The hotel was a lovely place to stay for our short trip to the Izu Penninsula, it was a good base for us to explore the area although there are very limited restaurants or places of interest in the immediate vicinity apart from the beach. The service was excellent in the hotel, especially the check in and the rooms were clean and well maintained. We didn’t use the private baths but they looked great. "Great place to stay. Hotel is in a secluded spot with great views and facilities. Sitting down in the onsen bath overlooking the ocean after a hard day travelling. Could not think of anything better. Only small down side is that you need to drive to access restaurants, and convenience stores. Hotel has a restraunt but need to pre book so plan for this.
