The western style twin beds were clean and comfortable apart from the normal Japanese hard pillows. The legless chairs with cushions were set on a tatami platform and it overlooked a residential area & trees. The shower room was clean and well appointed. "This place is a wonderful escape. It is very rural and rustic. The wonderful staff will accommodate your every need and the food is incredible. We had such a relaxing stay. Book a room with a private tub. You will not regret it."
"Wonderful view of the castle straight from the window. Very convenient location for visiting castle and ginza, and plenty of place to eat close to hotel. Only negative is I cannot park our car in the hotels parking lot due to it being long, although it's a regular size car. Offsite parking was not convenient and its a hit and miss and very tight parking spots."
