"We had a great stay at HOTEL MYSTAYS Shimizu. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. The hotel was also very English-friendly, which made the check-in process and overall experience much easier.
The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable, and the location worked well for us while visiting Shimizu. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in the area."

"The staff was very friendly, they can speak english fluently so there was no issues with communication. Was checked in and shown around the hostel by May, who was very kind and helpful. The area this hostel is located in is also very nice. Perfect location if you’re planning on doing paragliding with sky-asagiri, bus station only 2 mins away!!"

"The property is very nice and had no problems with staff. They were very nice and helpful. However, for those looking to access public transportation this hotel is not for you.
I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). Have to use taxi to get to station. So if you have a car or other...

We stayed in a twin room and the room is really spacious. Also love the public bath, though small, it’s clean and serves its purpose.
Breakfast is simple and not a lot of choices. But the food is fresh. They might wish to have a larger flask for the coffee though, as it seems to run out frequently.
Parking is very convenient, right in front of the hotel. Hotel is also conveniently located along the main road, with a 7-11 next door. Will definitely stay again if I visit Shimada in future.

Stay was ok, nothing much is shimizu area. We got a room beside the train tracks so it was quite noisy with trains rumbling by from morning till night.

Stayed for only 1 night. It is a half way rest stop for the long journey drive back from Takayama to Narita. Nothing fancy. Simple & basic hotel with free breakfast & parking. But inconvenient as there isn't any train station nearby (at least to my knowledge) & not many choices of shops or food nearby. It is next to a busy road & within a residential area. If you have a car however, then Aeon mall & many eateries are just 10-15mins drive away.

The hotel is simple. Has the basic necessities, and kept in good condition. It is a very good place to stay on business travels. Staff are very helpful. They try their best to communicate in English. Rooms are comfortable, although it is compact. House keeping does a good job to clean up the place while you're at work. Breakfast has a good spread of Japanese. Wi-Fi connection is good. Good place to rest and work.
Guess the only down I find is the location and number of tv channels. The...
