"We highly recommend staying here to truly enjoy Sintra. We were greeted with friendly staff, a fresh lemonade drink and pastry. We felt welcome. We only stayed a few days as this is all the time we had however it was perfect for a few days visiting this beautiful place. The hotel rooms were clean, linens were high quality, we received a friendly personal note to welcome us. Great touch. The food in the restaurant was delicious, we ate a few meals there in addition to the breakfast which was delightful, the staff that took care of us were all friendly and professional. The grounds were breathtaking. We wish we had more time there. We would come back again. "

"We loved the Chalet in Sintra!!! This had been constructed as a mansion 150 years ago and had been converted into a boutique hotel. They accommodated an early check in and upgraded us to a suite on the top floor for half the upgrade price. Our room had a view of the ocean! The property was light on amenities, but it was not the sort of place focused on that. It was quaint, romantic, comfortable, clean, with excellent bathrooms. It had maintained much of its 19th century charm and fit in so nicely with the vibe of the village. The was an incredible restaurant across the street, and a excellent cafe up 1 block. The main town was just a quarter mile down the road. The staff was incredibly helpful not only with the hotel but with reservations, sightseeing guidance, etc. Would love to stay here again."
