The setting is spectacular with million dollar views of the Pacific and seasonally the setting sun. Unfortunately, it is necessary to balance the aesthetics with a concern for safety. The huts are made of highly combustible thatched palm leaves. Unaccountably management permits smoking in adjacent public areas, even providing ashtrays. This is probably in violation of national law, certainly offensive to the 85% of people who do not smoke, and creates a headline waiting to be written about tourist deaths by fire. No extinguishers are visibly present and the kitchen is not equipped with grease fire suppressors called for by code in most countries. The solutions are obvious, simple and low cost but until they are implemented guests must consider the risks versus the attractions of an otherwise unusually well-run and beautifully created hotel.

I stayed in both the dorms and bungalows here and was very happy. The staff was excellent and atmosphere was great if you're trying to relax, surf, have a couple drinks, meet new people, etc but not party which is what we were looking for. The food was great and reasonably priced considering there were not many other options in the area. It would have been nice if there were more menu options since I stayed a week and had a few repeat meals at lunch. Overall would highly recommend.

This is beatiful, quiet hotel with great fresh food. Ideal for surfers looking to surf during the day and rest at night.

Estuvimos en pareja en una suite, no es lo que esperabamos por el precio, banos descuidados, poco mantenimiento, pobre calidad en el servicio, solicite wifi no me dieron informacion porque no estaba la persona, para la cena no tienen opciones, nota hay que llevar shampoo, jabon de olor porque no lo dan en el servicio.
