"The location was a plus for us and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately, there were several stains on the floor and a cup under the bed. We didn’t feel that the hotel met our standards for cleanliness. The microwave didn’t work which was a major disappointment for kids and there were lines on the TV which made the playoff games hard to watch. Overall, average stay for us at the Holiday Inn Express Savannah Historic District."

"Right in the middle of everywhere you would want to go in the historic area. Breakfast and happy hour were great. Best thing about this place was the staff. Every single person we interacted with deserve a raise "

"The hotel is very interesting and right in the river. Historic building and interesting gems and artifacts throughout. Great restaurants and fun shopping. Checking in was easy and the receptionist was friendly and accommodating. She checked us in early and upgraded us to a river view. The rm was large and bed was super comfortable. One issue was the noise. Because of the historic building- you could hear the people above us walking around and you could hear the people next door."

"Everything was excellent concerning the hotel. The only negative were guests wearing pajamas in the common rooms. They might want ro post "proper attire" required in dining areas. "

"My only gripe was the laundry. I couldnt get the dryer to work. I called the front desk and they said they would send soneone to help. I waited outside for 15 minutes and no one ever came. So i haf to go to the 2nd floor to dry"
