"The Grand Highland is located downtown in the center of everything that is going on. Our room was pretty, clean, had A/C and our room had a claw foot tub!! This a turn of the century bldg and THERE IS NO ELEVATOR, so pack accordingly. There is free parking behind the bldg. but checking in was street parking. Gift stores, restaurants, the historic downtown is all walking distance. Also, very close (15 minutes) are mountain trails if you want to some outdoor activities."

"The staff was helpful and polite. The beautiful fountain area is unfortunately also a designated smoking area. I would recommend they only keep the other 1 designated area which is on the opposite side of the building. There is one designated parking space per room and a limited number of other free parking spaces. The room floors were dirty, made our feet black so we kept shoes/socks on. Also while the tiled portions of the bathroom walls seemed rather clean, all the painted parts (top 1/3) around the whole bathroom had mold spots. I let the staff know it was in need of cleaning. Otherwise it is very conveniently located for all we wanted to do in town."

"This is by far the nicest Days Inn I have ever stayed at. I stayed here a couple of years ago, and when I had another event in Prescott I didn't even hesitate to book a room here again. The rooms are clean with nice modern furniture, the property is beautiful,and the breakfast items are fresh and tasty. Even the coffee was good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend."

"The location is its greatest strength. My wife and I were able to walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Courthouse Square and beyond very easily. We had a corner room which had two windows that made the room bright and cheery. Bear in mind that all other non-corner rooms only have a single window. The room itself is kind of small with a dresser and a chair. There is a window A/C unit. Our bathroom was a good size with a large tub/shower and single sink. The lobby is very small and there is not a lot of seating. The primary parking area is a gravel lot in the back of the property which is accessed via an alley. This makes entering the hotel not super convenient as you have to walk to the front to enter. My wife enjoyed the front porch for her morning tea but seating there is very limited. There is a second floor balcony which would have been a nice place to relax BUT it was closed for repairs when we were there (Oct 2026). We really like the charm and history of old hotels in Prescott and have stayed at the Hassayampa Inn several times. Overall, I would recommend the Hassayampa Inn over this because it has better amenities like a restaurant and cafe, much more substantial lobby seating and just more charm."

"The first room we were booked in was not fully remodeled and had carpet. It was on the second floor and smelled of dogs so I requested a new room. They also do not have an elevator. The second room was fully remodeled with vinyl floors and very clean. It was a quick 1 night sleep so I don’t have anything else to go off of. Overall I would say Nice staff, clean front desk area and hallways."
