"Eating at the restaurant: breakfast was average, lunch was below average. Could not sleep on pillows (too high). Front desk messed up early check-in. Should replace double beds with queens. The room was modern, quiet, clean and spacious. Window was facing building, but there was plenty room to adjacent building. "

"We had a good stay at YOTEL Washington DC overall. The hotel is very well located, close to the museums and very near Union Station, which is a big plus. The room was very clean and organized. The breakfast could improve a little, although Ms. Rosa was very kind and made the experience much better. My main issue with the hotel was with billing and the way the situation was handled at checkout. I made my reservation through Expedia, but when I checked in, I was charged again $505 for the two nights of my stay, plus an additional $200, for a total of $705. Fortunately, I reviewed my bank account, noticed the charges, and was able to report the issue. The first employee who assisted me was very kind and explained that it had been a system error. I was told that I would receive a receipt at checkout. However, at checkout, while I was calmly explaining the situation to the front desk employee, who was also very patient and helpful, another staff member interrupted us and started raising her voice at me. I felt this was very disrespectful, especially because I was only asking for a receipt to have confirmation that the $705 charged to my card would be refunded. This was a mistake made by the hotel, not by me. The hotel should be more considerate in the way staff speak to guests, especially when guests are trying to resolve an issue caused by the hotel itself."

"Stayed here for a work trip. Room was cute and comfortable. There were two waters when I got there but they never brought new ones. Check in was super easy and I was very appreciate they were able to get me into my room early. However the bartender seemed kind of rude and the person at the desk was also not very friendly. They have a sign for mimosas but told me they were out at 11am Sunday. Rooftop bar was supposed to be open Sunday at 5 but supposedly the managers decided to close it. I’d stay here again but the hospitality downstairs could definitely use some improving. Could’ve been just the crew for the weekend because Friday check in and Monday check out were fine."
