great choice hotel

excellent in all aspects..breakfast could be better though- very well situated a few minutes walk from Vitosha boulevard (which is the centre for shops and restaurants/coffee shops)

Good location, basic rooms and the AC wasn’t great so felt quite stuffy at night. Staff were ok, friendly but not overly helpful unless asked. Breakfast was continental, seemed fresh everyday just not a massive choice. The fact it’s only 5 minutes walk to the main tourist strip is amazing.

This could be a good property for some, but not for us. My husband has mobility problems and we though there were only 3 steps...but there were an additional 16 to get to breakfast. Also there were no English language channels on TV so he had nothing to do while I was out walking. On the other hand the room was large and the staff was excellent. Its in a great location if you dont have trouble walking.

A perfect place in the top-center of Sofia!

I thought this hotel was excellent. Not only is it a great choice due to its prime, top-center location, but the room was wonderfully equipped and incredibly spacious.I also had a balcony which was comfortable and relaxing. The included breakfast was delicious, with the classic European favorites supplemented with cereals and sweet treats. I liked this hotel so much that I have already booked my next stay!

Nice hotel

Hotel is central, close to Vitosha bulevard. It is newly renovated. Problems are that the shower did not work and all channels on the TV are Bulgarian. Even Euronews are dubbed in Bulgaria.

What a great stay we had at The St George’s hotel . Staff were very helpful and friendly , location was perfect ! Metro a minute away , in walking distance to almost everything. Our room was clean and comfortable and having the balcony was great to sit and relax after a busy day as the hotel was remarkably quiet . Breakfast was OK, we would have like more healthy vegan options but not a major issues as so many trendy little cafes and places gor good coffee in the city . Thanks so much to all the staff we had a great stay and loved Sofia !

Great location for exploring Sofia. Easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions and very close to Metro station. Rooms are dated but clean and have aircon and balcony which was welcome on hot days! Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but well prepared. Only downside was we asked for a second saucepan for our room (an apartment with small kitchen) and they couldn't find one. Otherwise all very good and recommended for cost effective visit to a fascinating and different city!
