"The ceiling fan in the living room was not working. Talk to the young lady in the office and she check for us and gave us a tower fan that didn't oscillate. The AC worked in the bedroom."

"Staff was very helpful. Our room was exceptionally cold and the receptionist came down and fixed the heating system. "

"This place is old, but it is in a great location! The dog area is the one of the best I have seen at a hotel. Super convenient. The pool was clean and nice. They provide you breakfast every morning, which is nice. The rooms could use some updating. Overall, we really like staying here."

"The walls are paper thin so don’t stay here unless you plan to sleep with earplugs. We stayed with our baby, which was a huge mistake. The white noise machine we brought with us wasn’t enough to drown out the noise of the upstairs neighbors pacing the floor all night or enough to block out the sound of neighbors phone conversations or arguments. We spend three sleepless nights here for the Solvang Century. We will never stay here again! Worst part is that the staff leaves at 6pm so there’s no one around the enforce quiet hours. "
