The staffs were excellent. All of them. The restaurant and the building had a great history. Room was big and spacious. Toilet was clean. I had issues with my kettle which had limescale in it. Overall very satisfied.

The room is clean and comfortable, though dim and limited in hanging space. Just nice for 1 pax. Bed and pillows make perfect sleep. Happy that 1 lift was working throughout my 2 night stay as the hotel had pre-warned the day before that the lifts are out of order. Breakfast was good with sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, baked beans, croissants, white and brown bread, cereal, milk, yogurt, hot drinks, fruit juice, fruits, etc.

It is a beautiful country property that is not only historic and full of character but kept updated for the modern traveler. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the food was great!
