"Property was prime location for the beach, shops, food and bars. Bed comfortable, rooms were clean and welcoming. Staff were amazing throughout our entire stay. Would recommend and definitely plan to return in the future "

"We always stay here when we travel to Tybee. We have tried the other hotel behind Tybee (Hotel Tybee) and we prefer Sandcastle Inn much more. It’s an older hotel as they all are there but it is clean and the staff is top notch. They don’t have an elevator so if you require one definitely ask for handicap accessible room. It’s about a 3 min walk to the beach and it’s very conveniently located walking distance to Tybrisa street. They have an outdoor pool that is well kept as well. "

"Great location. Room and bed were clean. Bar at pool was convenient and nice. View from room 224 partial view was good with a cool little balcony. Can't see the beach but ocean and pier is nice. Bad timing on our part, party weekend for seniors so drunk teens slamming doors and talking excessively loud intermittently in the hallway directly in front of our door until 3am was a little frustrating but I was young once, didn't try to spoil it for them. Will check events in the area before going back. Would stay again."

"By far the worst hotel we have stayed at. The room was dirty, found clothes from previous guests behind tv stand. Bathroom was gross and hair all over from other guests. Wires sticking out from where the smoke detector was supposed to be. The condition of the rest of the hotel was overall scary. We left as soon as we could the next day."

"A lot of black scuff marks and dirty corners and baseboards. Did not feel clean. Fridge ice and water panel falling off. Bedspread and blanket in 1 of rooms visibly soiled. Called management for linens to be changed and only a blanket was brought in and paced on bed."

"The property was very nice, clean and close to the beach. The owners really paid attention to detail when they were flipping this property. Also, the bed was great, very comfortable. There were a few things that irked me: (1) taking out the trash (why did I pay a cleaning fee?); (2) the 4 p.m. check-in with a 10 a.m. checkout. Too late and too early. Lastly, the contract was overly long and oppressive. Felt like there was a contingency for everything. Made me a little paranoid. Overall, would definitely stay again. "
