"Thrilled to find the East Village Hotel at 147 1st Avenue in ManhattanNew York which turned out to be right next door to the theatre where we enjoyed my daughter’s play that she wrote ,directed and produced along with several super creative and talented resourceful people. EVH was located in an awesome area with great restaurants,cafes,markets,bars,shops and theatres! EVH was easily located and we found it to be clean,very hospitable and convenient and we enjoyed the convenience of a functional...

"Communication was very good with the office. When we arrived room was ready and clean. Basic amenities was available, enough towels, washing liquid , toilet roll. We had a late check out and the office have a baggage hold facility which was very helpful. The internet is very slow at no fault of the building but they sent maintenance to take a look at it. Room has AC which was great after long shopping sessions to come back to a cool room. Location is very good, right next to all main landmarks...

"Too much auto email. I was trying to contact before i arrived but was never able to get through. However, once we arrived,.there was a staff person 24/7 to assist us. All the lobby staff were grest."

"Yulia was great and stayed in communication regarding all aspects of the stay. The property was charming and there was enough sleeping accommodations for 5 people comfortably. The location was safe and security was on-site and aware every time we passed through. We checked in after midnight and had 0 issues and checked out similarly without. The location was midtown and made access to tour easy. There were also no homeless lingering around the property which we did see throughout many areas...
