"Overall good place with great location. Breakfast was amazing! The room had a bit of a smell. We checked in later in the evening and lady at the registration was annoyed with our presence. But other staff was quite courteous and polite. Peloton bikini the gym was broken. Close walk to a wonderful beach"

"This hotel is in serious need of updates and a thorough deep cleaning. We booked four rooms for a birthday trip, and the experience was disappointing from the start. One of our rooms went three days without their bathroom being cleaned, which forced us to share showers. I even had to go to Walmart to purchase cleaning supplies and clean myself. Safety was also a concern. On Saturday night, we heard someone attempting to get into our room, which was very unsettling. By the end of the stay, we were completely fed up. When checking out on Monday, we spoke with another guest who shared that his watch and wallet had been stolen from his room—even with a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, just like ours. It honestly made us feel like someone may have been trying to access our room as well but left once they realized we were inside. From the outside, the property looks appealing, especially with the pool and hot tub, but the rooms do not match that impression. One group in our party was placed in a handicap-accessible room because everything else was sold out, despite us booking three months in advance and requesting connecting rooms. None of our rooms were connected, which was frustrating. Overall, the quality of the rooms did not justify the price. While the location is convenient, I would choose a different hotel next time—likely the Hyatt."

"I loved the location of the Bay Club Sandestin, and the amenities of the area. We had access to 3 outdoor pools (2 heated), and there was a trolley to the beach area. We were able to visit other local attractions with just a 15min drive. Within the community there was a dedicated walking path that was beautiful and well maintained. My only complaint is that the actual unit we were staying in, while well-appointed was actual dirty. Walking through the unit after a shower resulted in visibly dirty feet. The showers and bath tub needed to be scrubbed, there was buildup of scum on the bottom of the shower. The kitchen was clean enough, but the dishwasher was dirty enough that I hand washed all dishes rather than put anything in there. "

"Check in was very long. They were short staffed was my understanding. The room is a basic room with no updates for modern technology. The tv is pretty basic. No streaming. The property itself is great! Easy to get around and lots to do!"

"Great location, nice staff. I didn’t like that there was loose hair all over my towels, bedding, in the fridge (of all places), and on the floors. It seemed clean, but it did not smell good. The coffee is not my preference and seemed watered down. They do have free tea and coffee, no breakfast. There is an area where you can buy a heat up breakfast or a snack. There is a cabinet where you can borrow a bunch of random items, such as board games or a rice cooker. I didn’t get time to check out the pool. Only a one night stay for me. I personally wouldn’t stay there again. "
