Hotels in Southside Historic District

"The hotel has been renovated in 2024 per the reception person. The property is good shape. Breakfast was good, automatic pancake maker really easy to use. A small issue was that the wall thermostat was not operating at optimum. Mentioned it to reception in the morning and the person said that it might need reprogramming. Though we were not uncomfortable at night. Room was well insulated. The only suggestion that I might have for the property is that they have the coffee/tea maker in the bathroom, which is a weird place to put"

"It has been years since I stayed here and the hotel has undergone a fantastic renovation. I recommend staying in the new wing - it was pristine and the decor reminded me of the Greenbrier."

"The room was all stuffy once we walked in but the air conditioner worked well when we figured out that the controls where on the wall instead of in the air conditioner itself! Lol"

"Amazing location, so close to foods, drinks, & things to do. You have to pay for parking, but it was worth it. We left our car in the ramp and walked to so many different locations. Room was very clean and spacious. Everyone we ran into was so nice and friendly. Front desk especially. I felt welcomed every time I entered. I would 100% stay again."

"When I arrived at the hotel, they charged me $885 for the two nights for the room I had reserved!!! I had booked it through your app for around $230 per night, and when I asked them at the hotel, they told me the second night had become more expensive!!! Honestly, I’ve always trusted your service and usually your recommendations have been very good, but in this case I’m extremely confused and disappointed."

"Everything was fine bed was comfortable clean quiet. Only problem I had was there was a giant spotlight outside my room and the curtains did not help. Definitely could’ve gotten better sleep if that wasn’t happening"
