We enjoyed staying at Lanterna Rooms! Sonja was very helpful before and during the trip! The hotel is clean and near a ton of restaurants and Diocletian’s Palace.

Have just spent 3N staying at this lovely, quaint hotel. Great communication before arrival and an airport transfer was arranged. I was then met by the receptionist who walked me to the hotel. Very happy with the location as it was an easy 5 min walk to the Riva promenade. Room very clean and feels newly renovated. Amazing water pressure. Hotel felt safe as there is a locked gate upon entry.

The people that own and run this place are really super nice and helpful . It's in a great location! Totally walkable to everywhere in Old Town. Very clean,quiet and quaint 😀 We would definitely recommend this place and stay there again if we had a chance to go back to Croatia.

Lanterna Guest rooms was an excellent place to stay perfectly located inside the no traffic zone and close to city center. Lantern is very close to good restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Sanja, the manager and owner was excellent in helping with many details The rooms were clean practically new and beautiful little outdoor patio We stayed here twice once before our sail trip and after our sailing trip We will stay at Lanterna rooms again for sure thank you Sanja Buzz Lisl

The staff, Sanja, was the best manager you could ask for. Exceptional communication and demeanor. The rooms were very clean, modern and up to date. Wonderful patio for early morning coffee. Very short walk to eating, walking around old town. Lanterna is in the no car zone and only 100 yard walk to taxi or uber if needed but we did not. Four of our party stayed several nights at Lantern and will stay at Lantern again. Definitely recommend stay at Lanterna.

Small, quaint boutique hotel run by a family very close to the Split city center. We dealt exclusively with Sanya (sp?), one of the daughters and she was so kind, helpful gracious. The courtyard was quiet despite the hustle and bustle mere meters away and our room was clean and comfortable. Minutes walk from anywhere you want to be. Unfortunately no cheap or convenient parking but you'll run into this a lot if you want to be in the heart of the city; there is a paid outdoor lot perhaps 200-300 meters away. We would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the best places we stayed in Split. The location is great, about a 10 minute walk to the ferry port and 15-20 minute walk from the park forest. Sanja is amazing, she was so organized and more than willing to help and answer questions whenever. She gave us great recommendations and was super detailed about places to visit and how to get there. She also communicated with us the entire time to ensure that the check in and check out process was smooth. Highly recommend!

Really nice space a short walk away from the action. Sanja is super nice and helpful with restaurant and site seeing recommendations (and she arranged airport pick up). Close to the Marjan Park, too.

Just inside the no autos zone of the old city, so only need to wheel yiur baggage 100 yards. But you are in a quiet courtyard/alley just steps from all the old city action Rooms are immaculate, and very well appointed. But they are on the small size if that bothers you. I would say gleaming clean, quiet, classy and cozy. (Our group had 3 rooms and we saw 2 others.)

One of the best places in Europe
Our host was so amazing . The room was beautiful , the space was beautiful. There was so much attention given to us during our stay from the minute our host came to meet us at our taxi drop off to the moment where she made several phone calls for us to help us get Covid tested , a nice drink together and always a warm and friendly disposition. The location was central and perfect and beautiful . I cannot wait to return

Wonderful hosts, very friendly and took a lot of time to provide recommendations. The room was great and very upscale. The bed was comfortable and soft. The Wifi worked fine for streaming and video calls. The common area is a nice touch. The location is central to Split but nice and quiet. Would highly recommend

This place was lovely and the host was exceptional. Just a few steps from old city walls. Room is fabulous and lovely sitting area outside for guests. You can’t go wrong staying here. Sanja is very responsive to any need and helped us with easy parking just down the street.

An amazing home base to explore old town Split.
Lanterna Rooms was the perfect home base for us to explore Split. The location is less than a block from the heart of the old city, but in a wonderfully quiet alley that blocks all the old city noise. The staff are amazing and the room was perfect! I can't recommend this place enough, if you want to near to the old city, but have a quite place to retreat to.

Amazing find for rooms in Split, Croatia
An excellent stay, in a lovely room with wonderful hospitality. Sanja could not do enough for us, better than any hotel stay, especially if you don't eat breakfast (which we don't). The room was extremely well equipped, the beds very comfortable and shower lovely. We even had a fridge large enough to hold large bottles of water plus small amounts of food if required. Sanja gave us a really useful map, pointing out all the areas that we said we might be interested in seeing, right down to the Bus Stop and Number for the local buses. I would recommend staying here to everyone who wants to be within 10 minutes walk of the Diocletian Palace and the Promenade.

Lovely little place!
I recommend Lanterna Rooms. Only there for one night and wish I could stay longer. Small and clean hotel with nice design. The area is the best in Split.

The apartments are right in the centre of Split so it’s perfect location! The rooms are cleaned everyday, spotless & very comfy beds! The little extras such as the shower gels etc are a really nice touch! The ladies running it are lovely, so helpful & nothing was too much trouble for them! I would definitely recommend this place to stay 110%!! 😊 We had a fantastic stay with them!!

Cute, Clean, Quiet, Friendly.
Lanterna Rooms was wonderful. The room was cute, well sized, and clean. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. You can easily walk to just about everything. I was also surprised with how quiet and serene the rooms and courtyard were despite being surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city. Sanja was very warm and welcoming, offering tips and suggestions for our stay in Split. Would definitely recommend.

Do yourself a favour and stay here. It's amazing.
What an amazing city and an equally amazing place to stay. Best hotel so far in our 4 weeks traveling. Close to everything and a beautiful clean huge room with a gorgeous enormous bathroom. Couldn't be beaten and would 100% stay here on our next trip.

Great Choice
Everything was excellent and our hostess Sanja was great. She met us where our car dropped us off and walked us to where we stayed, even carried one of our bags for us. Walked us through all the details, explained the layout of Split along with a map and a few recommendations. Would definitely return. Super clean, convenient, very quiet, excellent internet and very comfortable bed.
