When I arrived to the hotel it was closed. I called the number in the door and nobody responded. After waiting for a while, a neighbor told me they had another hotel nearby I needed to head there. I was out in another hotel outside the palace area.

The staff who checked us in placed us in a wrong smaller room on the first night but day after Bianca moved us to the Deluxe room that we booked/paid for - thank you Bianca. Deluxe room is spacious, clean, quiet even though there’s a restaurant down below. Comfortable bed. Hotel has a lot of stairs, not suitable for those with mobility issues. We had an incident when the elevator door failed to open and for a few minutes we were stuck inside. Since then we did not use the elevator for the next two days. We will not stay in this hotel again for the reason that when we got stuck in the elevator and pressed the emergency call button nobody answered.

This hotels location is fantastic for Split Old Town and day trips, boats etc. It is a lovely building and my room was clean and comfortable. The lift goes from the first floor so from reception there are 2 flights of stairs. The receptionist helped with my case when I arrived but I had an early departure and the reception isn't manned at that time so I managed. This could be a real problem for some guests. Breakfast is in a restaurant about 10 mins walk away. There are 4 things to choose from and you get one coffee or tea and a juice. The breakfast was nice but being served between 8 and 10am didn't work when I had trips booked. The hotel location means there are plenty of other options for breakfast.

Beautiful small boutique hotel built in the Dioclician Palace walls, it’s very picturesque. The girls at reception are very nice. The room we had was overlooking the Piazza Marchi and was an amazing big room, beautifully decorated and so spacious. The only negative was that we were told the wrong info for the parking garage. There is no parking at the hotel as it is located in the pedestrian area of the city. They gave us a name of parking that we couldn’t find and weren’t able to reach reception. If u have to park, it’s basically the big public garage.

Located perfectly for quick access to boats, transportation, shopping and dining. The rooftop is accessible and has lovely views and ample seating. The door is somewhat hidden down the alley, which makes it feel very safe. The staff was very helpful and responsive. There is only an elevator from the second floor, so if carrying your own bag up a flight of stairs is a challenge, make sure you have someone who can help you. Excellent hotel overall!

Lovely boutique hotel in the old town of Split near the sea front a perfect location. Spotlessly clean staff were helpful. The only thing to note is breakfast is a 5 min walk away along the sea front. This is clearly listed when you book.

Lovely boutique hotel, well located I just of the main beautiful port walkway. Just inside old town off a lovely small square. Staff so helpful. Rooms airy and plenty of room, big ensuite . Well decorated and very comfortable. Good a/c in room. Breakfast is a pleasant walk to an excellent restaurant . Can't fault it. We stayed for 5 days. Restaurants and main tourist attractions all within walking distance.

Quaint and great location

Quaint hotel in the heart of town near the shops and restaurants. Walking distance to beaches. Only down side is the elevator starts one floor up (1st floor) so you do have to carry your bags upstairs to that point. Great place though and not right on the busy square where noise might be an issue.

Good location. Overpriced. No shower or elevator.

Location in old town Split was great. Room was spacious. That said there was not a view at all from our room, relatively large bathroom, but no shower.....just an old bathtub with handheld shower. Without shower curtain made it difficult and messy. No elevator and no assistance with luggage. Definitely not worth the money spent.

If you are going to Split, you MUST stay here! We arrived by bus and it was a quick easy walk to the hotel. Bianca was working at the reception when we arrived and she was absolutely lovely! Very kind, thoughtful and helpful. Our room was unlike any we stayed in on our adventures in Europe. Absolutely beautiful! We were perfectly located to be able to shop, dine and sightsee. The hotel was very clean and again, the folks running this place were all incredibly wonderful and helpful! You need to stay here if you are staying in Split!!

Lite blandade känslor kring det här hotellet. Vi bodde här i september, 2 vuxna och 1 barn 11 år, 1 natt BRA: - bra läge mitt i Gamla stan - de hjälpte till med Supersmidig transfer fr flygplatsen - bra service via mail inför resan - vi bokade grand suite som var stor, ren och supertyst - rent och fräscht - trevlig personal MINDRE BRA: - intrycket var att det fanns en terrass till rummet. Det gjorde det inte, den var 2 våningar upp - slitet och litet hotell. Ingen frukost eller bar. Helt ok att bo på som mellanstation men inte mer än så

This hotel was the perfect place to stay in Old Town. Sleeping in this historic building made our visit to Split really special. You can't beat the location -- easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The room was large and bright. We never heard any outside noise with the windows closed. Amazing views from the rooftop too. The staff is super friendly (especially Sonja). Definitely stay at Plaza Marchi when you're in Split!!

Ottima posizione.

Posizione centrale nella città vecchia di Split. Difficoltà a trovare parcheggi nelle vicinanze quello che avrebbe consigliato l'hotel costava 40 euro al giorno (decisamente troppo)!. La pulizia purtroppo lasciava a desiderare, ci siamo accorti che il pezzettino di carta o altro caduto la sera prima, l'indomani lo trovavamo ancora lì!! Le lenzuola malgrado abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti non ci sono state cambiate, gli asciugamani non sempre ne trovavamo a sufficienza per 2 persone e dovevamo chiederle. Posizione strategica.
