We were very disappointed with the condition of this Residence Inn. It felt more like a halfway house than a Marriott. We reserved the 2 bedroom room and upon entering, we were met with a cloud of musty, moist air. It smelled as though the last occupants were livestock. The carpet was sticky and squishy - I couldn't stand to walk on it without shoes on, so that was interesting after I showered or got in and out of bed. The hotel felt really run down and it was clear that this was a long-term stay type of place. When we checked in, there was 15 amazon packages waiting to be delivered to their rooms. We stayed here once before, two years ago, and I remember it distinctly because the police had to evict an older woman, her adult son, and the son's girlfriend from one of the hotel rooms. It was quite the ordeal. That was during the first few months of the pandemic so we thought it was just an anomaly. But seeing the state of things over this last weekend, I imagine this happens more frequently than I originally assumed. Never again!
