"We didn’t get the room we reserved. Had gotten a non smoking room and it smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was disgusting, so dirty that we had to buy our own cleaning supplies, bed sheets and towels.

"I did not check in because the hotel lobby was locked and the man who greeted me required that I walk to a nearby gas station to use my credit card there to check in. The gas station at that time was a crime scene with numerous police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances present. Crime scene tape surrounded the property. Police were still there an hour later when I left the area and stayed at Motel 6 (which I booked through Expedia)."
