"The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. There is ample and convenient parking as well. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Inn is right downtown adjacent to the square and all the restaurants and shops, and just a short walk to the Waterfront park. We make regular trips to Southern Maryland to visit family, but this is our first time staying in Leonardtown. We will definitely be returning to The Inn at Leonardtown."

"My stay at River Edge Inn was surprisingly pleasant, considering the low cost of the reservation. The exterior is attractive and clean, nothing fancy. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and check-in was quick and hassle free. My two double room was clean and roomy. The room included a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom was a little small but functional and clean. The mattresses aren't anything to write home about, but were comfortable enough. I really liked the picnic table outside the room. I could imagine sitting out and listening to the Potomac river, which is yards away. The continental breakfast was average but good enough. This was an arrive late leave early stay, but I will return here for a more relaxing trip with family."

"The room was clean and away from the elevators with no issues for the specific room. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that there is no accommodation for customers / guests that need a nightstand on both sides of the bed. In our situation both customers have a CPAP machine. The reservation was for 2 guests and the room was a queen bed and upon arrival we had to decide who was going to sleep without their CPAP machine because the room has no bedside table or electrical outlets on the outer edge of the bed. Regardless of the medical need when will Hotels learn that both sides of the bed need a place to hold their CPAP or book or tea."

"This is an older hotel that really hasn't kept up to today's expectations for the average hotel guest. But, for the price, I got exactly what I expected, that being a clean room, a place to bathe, a small kitchenette and a place to sleep. The staff was friendly & helpful. For those giving bad reviews for this place, I'd only remind them that this was by far, the cheapest place around. I only paid $64 per night, so I think I got a good deal."
