"The room was very clean and tidy There is no vanity table, the vanity mirror is on the window sell (9 inches off the floor) Breakfast, it stated Bed & Breakfast, ok, but not until checking that we were it was continental Breakfast. Choices of 3 cereals, fruit bowl, fresh fruit for cereals, fruit juice, yoghurt, brown or white bread and pastries. It suited us but would have liked the option of a cooked Breakfast"

"Lovely simple hut with electricity. Bathroom with shower, toilet & sink. Also another toilet in a separate room. Kitchen was very basic, but functional for simple food. Hosts were lovely."

"This is my second time staying at The George. Whilst it may be a little tired round the edges, and not the most polished of places to stay. It does have very friendly staff, and does serve great beer! I'm sure I will be back again next time I am working in the area. I would rather stay in a 'real pub' than a modern over polished replica like many pubs have become these days. Yes It would be nice if the TV was a bit bigger, and yes it would have been great to have an ensuite (some rooms do have them, others have a private bathroom down the corridor) but that isn't the end of the world. They dont serve food, but there are other places within an easy walk to get food from. If you want somewhere simple (with a comfortable bed), very friendly staff, and a great couple of pints, you could do a lot worse than staying here. And the prices are also very reasonable for the room, and the refreshments!"

"The accommodation has everything you need - well Equipped kitchen, good quality beds and bathroom fittings. Bath is huge and shower has good pressure. It was very clean. Basic cleaning products provided, toilet rolls and some toiletries which was good. Nice quiet spot with good dog walks and pub 20mins walk away. "

"I stayed in the merlin yurt which was nice and clean, comfy bed and duvet. I enjoyed the log burner as it was a novelty to me. The kitchen was basic but had everything you could need. Shop and pub 5 minute walk away. There are 3 shower/toilet combos with a great shower. A washing up area with a fridge freezer. Cleaning product was provided. No complaints at all "
