Hotel was lovely, friendly helpful staff, especially Hannah, the restaurant supervisor. Food in the hotel was very good, i recommend the gentleman's afternoon tea!
Nice seating area in our room. There were plenty of areas to go sit and relax in relative quiet. Only negative were the other noisy guests!
Terrible customer service, they will not accommodate for you if your travel arrangements are disrupted. In my case the ferry was moved at short notice to the following morning.
I was not offered a move in the date of stay or a refund.
Room is always good and clean the only thing the room was very cold and not heating was on when I arrived at the room .
I suggest before your guests arrive to make sure the room it's nice and warm as feel welcoming especially in the winter.
Saying that everything else was good.
Staff were very attentive and polite. Health suite was great, quiet and relaxing. The bedroom was large with a balcony but the room needs some TLC. Tears in the carpet and paint peeling from a wall. Our one serious issue was the food. Very below standard for a hotel of this grading. The evening meal, although very well presented, left us feeling disappointed. I never get any joy in having to bring these issues to staff.
Hi Claire, thank you for your review and we are sorry you were disturbed by road noise. We do have rooms away from the road so should you stay with us again, please feel free to request one of these
The hotel is located in a perfect place for exploring the island. It is located on a bus route and St Peter Port is a 20 minute walk.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is amazing. The pool is a perfect way to relax in the evening.
I have stayed in other hotels on the island and in my option, Les Rocquettes is the most comfortable and perfectly located. I highly recommend.

Hi Edward, we are so pleased you enjoyed your recent stay at the hotel and thank you for your kind words. Hopefully we will be able to welcome you back in the future
This hotel is unique in that all the staff are friendly, helpful and above all welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond. The food is excellent and the breakfast is one of the best we have ever had with a great choice. The complimentary day trip around the island was fantastic and Mick the driver was very knowledgeable as he is from Guernsey. A big thank you to everyone from the manager to the smiling room cleaners who made our stay so wonderful. We will definitely return.

Great place, very friendly helpful staff, nicely equipped hotel, good bar and great breakfast all at a reasonable price. About 15 minute walk into town but would certainly staff there again.

Hi James, thank you for your review and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to see you again soon
As a single person, l was given a king-size bed, a room with balcony and staff helped me retrieve my suitcase, which had been left behind in Jersey. The swimming pool was lovely.
Location, ideal for No. 71 bus to airport and other island destinations from Grange Top. Hotel offer 2 departures each morning and 2 later return runs in a 16 seater mini bus into town which is complementary. They also offer on certain days at 1300 a free tour around the island.
There was a good selection for breakfast. Evening meals where good quality and value. Booking is recommended, it was full both Wednesday and Thursday nights that we dined. I would recommend staying here the staff are very helpful and nothing was to much trouble.
wedding anniversary trip to guernsey, hotel found online. on arrival we were amazed how nice the hotel and staff were. We couldn't check in until the afternoon but could leave our luggage at the hotel which was delivered to our room also the spa could be used at this time.most enjoyable stay would stay here again.
Excellet hotel. Easy access to town - comfortable walk down hill with bus back to stop outside hotel. Extensive menu with food portions that are massive.
A lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was lovely including the rooms and communal areas. The food in the restaurant was very good.
A little walk into town but that did us good after all that grease food
Exceptional staff from reception to the bar and the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The hotels public rooms and bedrooms are furnished to a high standard.
Spotlessly clean everywhere.
The food was great, tasty and plentiful.
Definitely a return trip soon.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. All of the facilities at the hotel were as described and very convenient. It was in a great location and easy to get around the island. We did the free bus tour from the hotel with Mick, who was great and very kind, going out of his way to help us. I’d highly recommend the hotel. Thank you for all you did.
it was a lovely relaxing stay. Great swimming pool and the food was excellent. The staff were lovely. The whole time we stayed it was just perfect.
If i had to be critical, air conditioning would be nice so the windows could be closed to block out the noise of traffic but this subsided after 10pm. Great location
We had a very enjoyable long weekend stay. The staff were excellent and the room kept immaculately clean very nice chambermaids. Downstairs restaurant and bars looked liked they had been newly refurbished, great swimming pool. Our only downside was our room it was very dated and lacked facilities which didnt reflect the price we paid .The bathroom was very utilitarian , more suited to a public building than a hotel. Despite this we would stay again just hopefully not room 311!!.
It was great, though it was busy pn our arrival with the wedding, they could not feed us. We had to go to the local restaurant, Doghouse for our dinner. That was deflatjng after a 7 hour ferry journey. Other than that, we had a lovely time, food, service, lovely staff members.
Good food. Waiting staff attentive without being overbearing. All other supporting staff very pleasant and polite. Room bit dated, extremely clean. Beds comfy, room overlooking front of property and a bit noisy..would definitely stay again and request room overlooking garden.

Lovely hotel.
Very nice in reception and the Oak bar, I was in room 207 on the 4th floor. Go figure. Room very dated. Not damaged or anything, just felt like it was done up at the turn of the 21st century. Wifi in the room was woeful, as was it in reception and the lower bar area. Not good enough for catching up with work. Food was lovely, service was great by everyone there.
Although the hotel was out of the centre of St Peter Port it is well worth the short bus trip rather than walking.
Use a Puffin pass on the bus and each trip is £0.75 a real bargain and the bus stop is just outside the hotel.
The food at the hotel was amazingly superb, staff really friendly and helpful.
Great stay, helpful staff. Good breakfast options and had nice meals at the attached restaurant. Pool / sauna / steam room were nice to use when we had a spare bit of time.
Bathroom could have been bigger! This varies from room to room - we all paid the same rate and others in our group got a bigger bathroom and similar size but in need of a refurb.
Room clean, bed comfy, receptionist very helpful. Breakfast was good but the quality of the bacon was awful. Two rashers of fat! Looking around the restaurant everyone had the same and most didn’t eat it. Coffee served in cafetière but when pressed the plunger there was no coffee inside! instant coffee had been poured into it. Oak Restaurant was disappointing. Was asked to wait at bar for table but was forgotten about. Finally sat down after nearly 2 hours although there was a table free the whole time. Female bar person was miserable and unfriendly. Ordered fillet steak cooked medium which was large with chunky chips but the whole middle section was too rare. I sent it back and said it probably needed 5 minutes more. Waiter took it back, had a discussion about it with someone else, then returned later saying it had been cooked for a further 5 minutes! It was obviously all too much trouble for them. Poor service throughout, miserable and unhelpful. Would not stay in hotel again because of this Oak Restaurant - very disappointing experience and very expensive.
