"Madie’s place is a nice, chill place to stay. We had the whole place to ourselves because of having 8 people. It is an older place with all the rooms but one on the third floor and all bathrooms on the first so keep that in mind when booking because it’s not convenient and might be an issue for older people and young children. Besides that the only other negative is the condition and size of the bathrooms, very small besides one of them and old and dirty looking. The host was amazing her name...

"I debated between 3 and 4 stars and went with 4 because the price is so good. It is very affordable but it is not very clean and staff is not very friendly or attentive. Overall though for such a great price it was pretty good. "

"The staff are very kind, courteous and very helpful. The thing that bothered me the most are small cockroaches crawling in toilet seat and bathroom floor. I complained to management about this and requested transfer to another room. They granted my request immediately, the room was better and had less cockroaches. "

"I wasn’t able to enjoy the amenities of the hotel but was able to enjoy the hospitality and helpfulness of the very lovely staff. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and able to get a taxi around the very elusive Tagatay mountains. The room was average but large and comfortable. Only negative comment is that the bathroom needs an upgrade with some stains on the floor and rusting/limescale of the shower head. "

"There was no option for soap bars and in the middle of the night, I can hear vibrating alarms from the other room. Also, you can clearly hear all outside noise (cars passing through, etc). We didn't have much rest as we thought we could have"
