"We showed up early hoping to just drop our bags and our room was actually ready! able to check in well before our time and it allowed us to enjoy another full day in Florence before our flight home in the morning. Front desk staff were super helpful with advice on what time to get to the airport (located 5mins away), called us a cab, and even had a bagged breakfast for us to take with us since we had to checkout at 4am! "We stayed in the apartment. Which is a short walk from the main building, between the olive grove and vineyard. It was so peaceful. We opened the window in the morning to watch deer grazing, and sneaking into the vineyard. The breakfast buffet has a great selection. With no car, a taxi into Florence is about 25e. Taking the bus is a great option but it doesn't run on Sunday. The Villa has the nicest bathrobes you'll find. Service is outstanding."
