"The stay at this hotel was a stop over towards our final destination. It is in the ideal location for a one night stay. The check-in clerk (Alan) was extremely pleasant, professional and helpful. The room was a lovely room in a very quiet area of the hotel. The bedroom was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and functional but could be in need of an update. All of the staff we came into contact with at the hotel were all polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel as an ideal stop over hotel."

It was lovely to be able to walk around the grounds in the evening. While there isn’t a great deal to do in Ware, Scott’s Grotto (only open Saturday afternoon) and Hatfield House (30 minutes drive away) are both worth a visit.
