"The building was under renovation with workmen and building material name around a large section (excluding the bedrooms ). The building is old and in a state of disrepair. The bedrooms have been partially renovated but there is much to be done and there is a need for a deep clean and a repair and repaint of the rooms. Missing amenities: no shower gel/shampoo provided even though stated in the booking confirmation. Quite frustrating when you turn up late after work and then end up having to go back out to purchase basics such as this. "The room was rather small but adequate for 2 nights. It was rather a long steep way to get to our room as it was top of the pub and we are oaps! Very noisy on Saturday night but not bad on Sunday. Basically it needs refurbishment. No breakfast available too. "

"Great place to stay at a reasonable price, restaurant is very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was very hot however it was the hottest day of the year so far. We were disappointed to find that breakfast is not available despite being listed as such on the app. "
