I suggest investing in some good quality kitchen knives. It was difficult to navigate the television. Perhaps you could leave some instrutions on its use. Thicker toilet paper ?😉

We had a great stay in a really beautiful area. Unit was clean and well presented. My only criticism would be that the mattresses were a bit firm for us but we were still more than satisfied

An excellent location and accommodation
A wonderful, up to date, modern and fully equipped property where the the owners clearly have put their heart and soul and consideration into all aspects of this accommodation. Within walking distance to township in a quiet location and short distance to the water also. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here. There is a lot to do in the area much of it we had done on a previous visit so we were able to relax. "The Ship that never was" was a fun experience on this trip to Strahan and not to be missed !

Strahan Bungalows Modern, clean and convenient Easy to find on road into the village. Ideally located to move around the village. The bungalows, 4 in total, are well equipped to allow you to shop at IGA and prepare a meal. Very modern interior, immaculately cleaned. Parking at front door. Great option compared to other Strahan options. Would definitely stay again.

Something smells
We were allocated bungalow called Cape Sorrell. After unpacking I could smell a foul odor, like mildew or mold. I don't know if it was the split system air conditioning but it ponged. I noticed that there was a can of air freshener 'Glen 20' on the bench, obviously it was there for a reason. It was a very offensive and miserable night due to this smell.

Dear Karen, I am so sorry this has occurred, we have had difficulty with this room and Hubby got in the roof and checked all drains and assured me that he had cleared the smell. I wish you had of contacted me and could have moved rooms to elevate this problem. I will ensure that we continue to improve this situation. Regards Annie

Great location, nothing was a problem, pin code on the door is great for (our) late arrival. Neat and tidy, great facilities in the apartment. Can't fault it. Awesome communication with owner, again, can't fault it.

Got to be Strahan’s finest !
Stayed 2 night and the Bungalow was brilliant - would have to one of nicest places we have stayed - extremely well appointed and extremely comfortable - some places go that extra bit and this is one of them ! Internet supplied didn’t work real well - struggled to reach our Bungalow which was “Gordon River”.- we got by though and this was the only thing that was anything like a negative - would not look elsewhere if we stayed in Strahan again - they really do tick all the boxes with this place - this was our first time in Strahan and was perfect for our 2 night stay - right down to the welcome chocolates!

The best part about this accomodation was how easy check in was. It was so smooth and easy. It’s also in a very convenient location with the IGA nearby. The guestbook had a lot of things to do too for tourists.

This was a lovely, clean property. It was very homely and comfortable. There were some chocolates and a note there for us upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend this 2 bedroom bungalow.

Straun Bungalows has several adjacent 'bungalows' on the land. It is well equipped and air conditioned. This has nothing to do with the property but it is a long way from other towns (Hobart, Stanley). It could serve as a base to explore other mining/ex mining towns. Other than the distance, we would stay there again.

The property inside was large, well equipped and very clean. However the property is very dark as it is surrounded by trees. We had to have the lights on whenever we were inside. The outside space was dark and not somewhere we could sit out at.
