"For the price you pay, it’s not bad. The decor may need an update, but the pictures online are true to form. My only real gripe was the plastic mattress protector on the obviously new mattress- you’ll wake up in a pool of sweat in the middle of the night. Nevertheless, I still give my overall experience 5 stars because of the hotel’s staff. They went above and beyond to help me from restaurant reservations, what points of interest to see, and even printed several documents I needed for me. At the end of the day, a hotel is really just a fungible service - a bed to sleep in. The difference is service. I would definitely recommend. "

"A wonderful hotel right at the foot of the viaduct. Good breakfast, private parking. We stayed one night to visit the Christmas market. Very convenient."

"I stumbled upon Sombea during a trip through Southern Germany, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. "They took advantage of my illness and acted inhumanely. On the day of arrival at the hotel, I had food poisoning and vomited in the bathroom. At checkout, they charged me €900 for cleaning the bathroom. It was horrific and inhumane – even though the room was cleaned and we stayed there for a whole week, they claimed they would have to close it in order to clean it. Liars, exploiters, and inhumane."
