The villa was clean well furbished, comfortable, and beautifully presented - loved the pool and the day bed close by. It was a very relaxing. Would go back here without hesitation."

"Our family stayed for 4 nights in this lovely hotel, I found the property to be calming, felt very comfortable. Our room was lovely, bed comfortable. The pool was delightful and good temperature to take the heat off and plenty seating around it. The staff were lovely and especially lovely Manageress sorry her name escapes me for now. We were greeted with the best fresh orange juice we have every had. The hotel is a short walk to Mushroom Bay which is lovely with Restaurants on the beach serving nice meals. The whole Island is definitely worth a visit. "

"We had the most wonderful stay at Castaway! The staff were beyond lovely and so helpful with anyone we asked. The hotel is gorgeous and perfect if you were travelling with other people - shared pool which is quite close to everyone else’s rooms but it makes for a nice relaxing environment anyway. It’s walkable to mushroom beach, super easy and close, The ONLY negative is the bar across the road plays louddd live music every night until approx 10-11pm but in all honesty it didn’t really effect us sleeping and we had 2 kids (2 and 5). We 10000% will be coming back to castaway - we had the best time! "

"I’m not sure words do Lembongan justice, the Island is one of the most amazing places I’ve been to. Our hotel was fabulous, it was quiet, clean, with friendly staff. The setting and location were perfect for us and the pool area was great. On arrival we found the room was very small for two adults and a teenage son, I had expected a little more space. We had a mattress on the floor with no mosquito net which worried our son (he was right to be, we were bitten a lot) I asked if there were any rooms available to book (at a cost of course) luckily they did have so our problem was solved. We would absolutely stay here again. One thing to note, the bar did not open once in the four nights we stayed which we found very odd. Bintang and Radler available but nothing else. Also there are set times to order food, which was fine but good to know in advance. Taxi drivers are amazing and very helpful. Visit to mushroom beach and devils tears are recommended. "

"I loved my one week stay here. The villa was newly renovated with a mini fridge, secluded balcony, and a built in day-bed sofa. The pool is beautiful. The staff are wonderful. The spa services were also superb. So close to Sandy Bay Beach Club and also walkable to many other restaurants, shops, spas, sights, and beaches. It’s nothing fancy, the bed was a bit hard, and you may hear your neighbors from time to time, but I still highly recommend. "

"We had a really disappointing experience. We arrived early on our arrival day, hoping to leave our luggage and head out. The staff member on the front desk said the room was being cleaned so we could check in early in an hour or so if we would like. We agreed to pop back then after getting a bite to eat. When we returned we checked in, unpacked some items and headed to the beach. Upon return we were told they had accepted another booking for 9 rooms and so we would need to move to another one of their properties. They had packed up our room and would drop us by bike. We could then return the following day to stay in the hotel for our remaining 2 nights. Whilst we can’t fault Putu and his colleague who helped and were the middle men having to pack and move our stuff, I’m extremely disappointed with the owner for being greedy and taking on additional bookings which were only for 1 night and messing us around. Not once did the owner apologise or communicate these changed to us. I contacted hotels.com to request a partial refund for that night and the inconveniences but the owner refused. This is extremely disappointing and I really feel for the staff that were working as they were great and it shouldn’t reflect on them. "
