"Far from anything but an excellent beach and the most amazing pool I have ever seen. A huge collection of lagoons canals and big pools plus kiddie pools. Our room had direct access to a chest high canal type pool which connected to the huge central pool. Lots of eating choices including inexpensive non-hotel Thai eateries adjacent to the beach. Very good breakfast buffet. A lot of walking because this is a huge property. Uncrowded and clean beach. The room was large attractive and clean though a bit dated. All in all the best Marriott I have ever stayed in and one of the best hotels."

"Fabulous! I had a pool access room and it was great to avoid the crowd at the main pool. I did go to the beach twice which was nice, but I preferred the quiet. Staff was helpful and did a great job. The area around the hotel is great - tons of places to eat, get massages, etc. I plan on returning the same time next year!"

"We loved everything about our stay and the property. We would never again book through Expedia because they are not an honest company. They say your payment will not go through until 30 days before your stay but then charge it immediately and send you a confirmation and and say any cancellations are not refundable. They also blame it on Outrigger Hotel that they do not refund for cancellations. This is not true - they just keep the extra money and do not send it to the hotel. This is bad practice and I hope karma gets them."

"We loved our stay at ThaiLife so much. It's an incredibly beautiful property, exactly the kind I was looking for to get away from the crowds. I was instantly de-stressed and relaxed and did not even wish to leave the grounds, though I am normally very curious person who loves to explore. I loved their simple but lovely beach too. If I were to change one thing, I would say that putting gravel all around the reception area is not very guest-friendly. We roll our bags and the gravel destroys the wheels. Also, for a completely unknown reason both receptionists at the front desk acted in a non-friendly manner, which probably would not even register with me if Thai people were not usually so friendly, but it's no big deal. "
