"The smell in the house is awful everything smells like old mold and nothing is updated. Its very cold downstairs and hot upstairs. If you like smelly clothes and short to railroad this is it. Retro for some people but really paint is not that expensive and some updated heating and cooling would be nice."

"Check in was fast and the front desk personnel were able to speak English well. We reserved a room that had two twin beds and an adjoining tatami mat sitting room that could also function as additional bedroom with futons. The room and bathroom were very clean and in great condition. There was even a washing machine in the room so we could run a load of laundry. (It is also a dryer). Breakfast buffet was good and we also had dinner there one night; you can choose a main course (sukiyaki, etc) and also get the buffet to go with it. The staff is very efficient and friendly. The location is fantastic as it is right next door to the train station and the bus station and a short walk to the Old Town. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again."

"I liked the fact that they had everyone remove and store their footwear in lockers when coming onto the facility, preventing people from wearing dirty footwear on the premises including the rooms. Suitcase wheels were also easily cleaned by rolling them through a cleaning station."
