We stayed as a family of 4 (5&8yo) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Whilst they sometimes were a little short on English the staff tried very hard at every opportunity to assist us and make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast is great and we enjoyed it every day and the private onsen is a highlight - very relaxing and I would definitely recommend booking it. Hotel is close to the train and we found it easy to walk around town for dinner, etc.

Our stay at Aburaya Tousen was a memorable experience. We arrived quite late but had no trouble finding the place. There are a few free parking lots around, which made things easy. Service stood out right from the start.. a staff member came out to greet us and helped carry our luggage from the gravel parking area. Very clean and great service! The whole place is bean-themed which is very cute. Every part of the welcome snack and breakfasts had some kind of bean. They also have very nice free homemade drinks.
