Hotel JAL City Nagano

Hotel JAL City Nagano

10/10 Excellent
"I stayed at the JAL for 8 nights and was happy with the service. The location is great as it is a short walk to Zenkoji Temple, the Prefectural Museum and also to Nagano JR Station. Nagano was a fascinating city to visit and the JAL was situated in a good location for finding amenities such as shopping and food. I love to walk and I really enjoyed exploring the area around the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although my room was rather crowded with 3 beds, it was kept clean and well stocked. My only complaint was that the breakfast for a Westerner was very limited and got predictable very quickly. The food was very good, presented well and tasted fine but after 8 breakfasts eating the same things I was ready for a change."

"Love the location and the hotel is very well maintained. The most excellent part of this place is their staff - every single one of them who my family and I interacted was professional and kind. I wished they had a mini mart or something on site tho. Also having a few more restaurants on site would be nice since itโ€™s a very remote location. Iโ€™d go back again."
