"Simple but good hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel is on the middle of the slope so ideal for a short ski break. Staff is very helpful. The services are good (restaurant etc). Food is simple but good. Choice between traditional Japanese style and western style rooms. be careful to book room with private shower/bathroom as not all have these. The public shower(onsen) is ok, but not special."

"I loved the onsite Onsen and style of traditional Japanese hotel rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful! Amenities were great! Beautiful hotel room view! The only downside is that the hotel is located on the outskirts of Nagano, so plan ahead as it’s not easy to reach via walking. Shuttle buses are readily available however to help get around."
