"Christian and all the staff were really nice, courteous, caring, kind & hospitable. We were worried about the "wooden plank" and river comments in a few reviews. While it should be properly fixed, there was really no issue. We stayed on the top floor and we are tall so I will have to say don't stay on the top floor if you're tall!
