Hotels near Tapdong Beach Plaza

"The room was spacious with everything one might need from towels, body wash and shampoo as well as toothbrush and toothpaste to a mini fridge. That being said check-in was not smooth. The person the runs the place wasn't there so I was created by her father. He was lovely but could not speak an ounce of English and wasn't sure what do do. He ended up calling her and we talked over the phone and then she explained it to him. He was lovely, even helped me with my bag up the stairs. However, the bed was hard as a rock, and the pillows where low profile and hard. I understand that it might be a preference for some, not for me. If you are looking for a soundproof place to enjoy quietness this is not your spot. Being not too far from the airport, you can hear every single plane that flies by. You can also hear people in the corridor and next door. If you are looking for privacy, this is not the right place. That being said, it is really conveniently located. Close to metro and bus to and from the airport as well as some restaurants, the market, historical governmental building and conviniance stores. Not for me but I can see how others would enjoy it. "

"The hotel is ok with a nice view. The bathroom has a slight sewage smell. Sound insulation is not very efficient. Outside the court yard some one always sing from afternoon to 10 pm, very loud."

"We had been travelling in Japan and Seoul and stayed at many hotels before getting to JEJU. Space wise, it was one of the better hotel rooms that we have had during our trip. There were drawers for clothes, counter space for toiletries and space for our suitcases, with enough space in the room to walk around comfortably. The breakfast was very good with well balanced offerings of traditional and western style foods. The staff were efficient and helpful."

"Rooms were standard. The hotel doesnt offer admenties but there is a vending machine that gives you a tooth brush and such. The towels had a weird smell to them, i felt lucky i bought my own towel. Theres shampoo and bodywash but not conditioner. EVEN though there is a elevator, you will still need to carry your luggage down and up a flight of stairs. There isnt a place for wheel chair or to roll luggage so if you arr older or heavy luggage i wouldnt recommend it. The staff is there at 11am so you check out without anyone. They have three parking lots, usually full and be carful because if someone double parks, no one else is fitting into it. Theres a parking lot infront of the hotel and then two more a few blocks away. "

"The property was close to the market and buses, and the staff were always friendly. No complaints—it was exactly as advertised. Worth noting that it’s not close to many of the nature-related sites (~45 mins to an hour to most), but that’s obvious if you look at the map when booking. "

"The property is conveniently located and the room itself is spacious, which makes it a comfortable base for exploring Jeju City. However, do note that there’s a short flight of stairs before reaching the elevator; something to keep in mind if you’re travelling with large or heavy luggage. Service is very minimal; you’ll hardly see anyone on duty. Communication could also be improved. I didn’t receive check-in details beforehand despite a message being sent, and my follow-up went unanswered until much later, after I had already checked out. There’s no air-conditioning during the cooler season, so the room can get stuffy. You can open the window for ventilation, though it can get quite noisy from the street outside. Additionally, luggage storage is chargeable, which wasn’t communicated in advance. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you’re independent and prefer a self-service style accommodation, but best not to expect much assistance or comfort amenities on-site."
