"Our apartment was very new, modern, and comfortable. It was convenient and useful to have a washer and dryer in the apartment. The location was good. It was walkable to shops, restaurants, and tourist sites."

"Clean and well-maintained room, great staff and great service, short walking distance to dining options. This hotel is the definition of "Simple but effective". If you're looking for a hotel with an onsite restaurant, this isn't the one. But if you want a good modern hotel with clean rooms in a reasonable location with reasonable prices, this is the one. I stayed in a Petite Double room which is actually pretty good size with more than enough space to move around and store my things - not Petite at all ! And due to my early flight, I arrived at the hotel around 8 am thinking that I was just going to drop off my bag for storage and come back in the afternoon to check-in, but without being asked somehow Tricia told me that I can check-in straight away as the room is available. Have you ever been allowed to have an early check-in from 8 am ?! Most hotels don't allow that, even if the room is available. Definitely on my recommended list. Great stuff Mike and team, you guys are onto a simple formula here - do the basics right !!"

"Loved the location close to Cuba Street, the waterfront and Te Papa. Loved that the bedroom was separate. Kitchen meant you could stay in and cook and the washing machine was a rwal bonus. Staff were lovely when dealing with them. "
