This is supposed to be a boutique hotel, but: 1. It's in too poor of a neighborhood (very close to the nicer parts - but not quite) 2. The interior is not kept up well enough. Peeling plaster etc. 3. The shower system appears fancy but isn't. 4. I was mis-charged by Expedia and both Expedia AND the property owners refused to take responsibility. Leaving me with disappointing and expensive solutions.

No stairs - so beware if traveling with larger suitcase. Not a hotel, more apartment like. Check in lobby area tiny and front desk worker was unprofessional. Lobby had unusual odor. In an area where there is really nothing. Have to walk 20+ minutes to find descent restaurant/ shops . Area around this place is run down and dirty. Sheets are itchy, not soft . + is they gave you 2 bottles of water and bottle of cheap Barefoot wine

Small but high standard! Great bed, new bathroom;)

Great shower and bed. Had a room for 3 but it was still very small. Really nice guesture with free red wine, water and coffee. Noise outside, heavy traffic and acnewchotel bring built next door, literally! Amazing roof terrace. Receptionist is not always present when they should be- be aware if you are using the luggage room- you might have to wait 15-20 min for someone to open it. Good WiFi.

Excellent Boutique

I have never been to a hotel that is more accommodating! The manager greets you literally with open arms. This is a small boutique hotel in the Florentine district of Tel Aviv, it is an improving neighborhood near the very lovely Neve Tzedek neighborhood. The rooms are quite small but well designed. Coffee (Nespresso) is included as are wine and water. There is a rooftop hot tub lukewarm by American standards, but fine by Israeli standards.

Very good located hotel, close to Rothschild Boulevard. Cozy little room, clean and modern with a small balcony, and a good coffee machine (Nespresso). Bakery and supermarket around the corner. Super friendly staff! Very nice roof top with a great view and a Jacuzzi. Parking space in underground car park very close by available for 50 ILS extra per day.

Our stay at the Kalvin Boutique Hotel was a good one. At first glance of the hotel I was skeptical but you can't judge a book by its cover. The hotel is in a working class area. Our room, including the bathroom, was clean and comfortable. There was a bottle of red wine waiting for us which was a nice touch. Boez, the manager, was extremely helpful. When the ATM machine around the corner wouldn't work for us, he brought us to a bank so we could get some cash. A good stay.

Great location and excellent service!

we had great time in this boutique hotel. the staff and owner really friendly and helpful, a bottle of wine in our room on check in were a surprise along with a coffee machine. the room very nice and clean, we can absolutely recommend this hotel!

I loved this hotel, it was clean and the beds were comfortable with crisp sheets. Walking distance to beach and train and bus stations and restaurants. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful with all our questions about Tel Aviv. The room was small but for us it wasn’t an issue just mentioning it in case for others it may be.

Could not have made a better choice

One of the nicest hosts and although a little small which I knew when booking the room it was really very nice. Tastefully decorated Awesome air conditioning Good bed although the pillows were for me a bit fat. The super clean bathroom might be a bit small but its functionality is fine. Excellent temperature and pressure shower. An easy walk to Jaffa and close to a bus too. Up top of the hotel is a terrace with blow up jacuzzi. Complimentary chocolates and red wine On our bed upon arrival. No breakfast but there is a coffee machine in the room. Try Benedict just 400m up the road for breakfast. Cable tv is there but we did not turn it on. For us it was an excellent choice of place to stay and would stay again without hesitation.
